BitWave’s Softransceiver™ RF Platforms are comprised of high performance silicon RFICs which can be dynamically configured with software. BitWave has designed a modular software system which can support rapid implementation of wireless standard protocols yet which also allows for real-time optimization and dynamic control.

Softransceiver Software Applications Suite

Implementation is easy: BitWave provides the platform and firmware optimized for your BB, the customer selects the protocols for the application

The Suite consists of:

• Wireless Standard Mode Files (Protocol compliant configurations)
• Cal Files (Chip and Board specific calibration data)
• Radio Drivers (for baseband integration)
• and core RFIC firmware

Straight-forward Integration and Rapid Implementation

Digital interfaces and BitWave-provided reference designs can simplify the HW integration challenge.

Integration of a Softransceiver RF Platform into an application is easily accomplished.

BitWave’s Applications and Customer Support Engineering Team builds the required wireless standard mode files and together with core firmware, assembles a customer specific software load to support the customer’s application.

In parallel with building the software load, the customer’s developer integrates BitWave Radio Drivers into their baseband stack.
